Another day another TOY REVIEW!
Even though I got a new Bark Box in the mail today I am reviewing a toy from the previous box. Man do I love Bark Box I basically get something new to play with every week, as well as some great treats. This weeks toy was an odd shaped ornament thing maybe, not really sure because the treat dispenser doesn't put up a tree, he thinks I would knock it down or something. Which is obviously just code for him being lazy I would never knock anything down.
I will be honest I was so excited to get this toy, it was big and had a nice loud squeeker, and it was a new toy. But that is where the accolades end with this toy. I only played with it for a few minutes so maybe I need some more time with it, but that is where the major problem lies. The playability with this toy is very low.
It is a little too large to chew on comfortably, it holds water so after a few minutes it was gross and soggy. The squeeker didn't make enough noise for my liking, as it was very tough to squeeze down on. How is the treat dispenser supposed to know that it was a great toy if I can't even play with the toy loud enough for him to hear?
Overall I rate this toy a 1/5 paws, it is big so maybe some of my bigger dog friends will find joy in it, but I just can't keep the ball in my mouth and bite down on it. I will keep it around for a few weeks and if I pick it up again I will adjust my ratings, but for now this toy was a bit of a disappointment. Hopefully next week will be something better.
